Biggs’ ‘KAMALA Act’ Targets Housing Aid For Illegal Migrants, Defends American Taxpayers

Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) has introduced the “KAMALA Act,” a bill aimed at preventing taxpayer dollars from being used to provide housing assistance to illegal migrants. The “Keeping Aid for Municipalities and Localities Accountable Act” was proposed after California lawmakers attempted to pass legislation offering loan assistance to illegal migrants looking to purchase homes, a move that Biggs called “a slap in the face” to hard-working Americans.

Biggs spoke about the KAMALA Act on Just the News, No Noise, where he criticized the Biden-Harris regime for its handling of immigration and the strain it has placed on housing markets. “We have a home shortage because we have so many illegal aliens in the country,” Biggs said, arguing that federal funds should not be used to support housing for non-citizens when many Americans are struggling to find affordable homes.

The KAMALA Act would block federal funding from being used by states and localities that provide housing loans or assistance to illegal migrants. Biggs emphasized that the bill is necessary to protect taxpayer dollars and prioritize U.S. citizens in housing programs.

With co-sponsors already backing the bill, Biggs hopes that House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) will help move the legislation forward. The bill’s introduction comes at a time when immigration and housing shortages are top concerns for many Americans, and Biggs believes that his legislation will address both issues by ensuring taxpayer money is not used to fund benefits for illegal migrants.

As debates around immigration and public spending continue, the KAMALA Act is poised to become a key issue for lawmakers focused on protecting American resources and defending the interests of U.S. citizens.
