CDC Director Walensky ‘Does Not Want To Answer’ Basic Questions About COVID-19

Recently, the CDC director Dr. Rochelle Walensky joined Fox News Sunday. She was asked to clarify facts about COVID-19 cases in children because of the misinformation spread by Supreme Court Justice Sotomayor. Sonia Sotomayor said that regarding US cases of COVID-19, “We have over 100,000 children, which we’ve never had before, in serious condition, and many on ventilators.”

Walensky was asked about the most recent pediatric hospitalizations of COVID-19. There are currently less than 3,500 children being hospitalized with COVID-19.

When asked about children’s deaths from COVID-19, she said this information would be forthcoming but would not answer the question directly. It should not be a hard statistic to recall for the person in charge of keeping these statistics. The CDC chief said that her agency requires half a month to gather the information, which means she should have the facts related to age-stratified COVID-19 cases and deaths up to mid-December, as Omicron was spreading. Instead of directly contradicting the SCOTUS liberal, the CDC chief gently corrected Justice Sotomayor on her misrepresentation of pediatric hospitalizations.

Fox News requested a response from CDC director Rochelle Walensky after claiming that the number of the COVID-19-related deaths of children in the US was straightforward. She would not distinguish between infected people and people who passed on with COVID-19 symptoms but died to underlying conditions and comorbidities.

Bret Baier asked Walensky how many of the 836,000 deaths in the US were connected to COVID? Are they all from COVID or some with COVID but had other comorbidities? Do you have that breakdown?

Walensky answered with nonsense, stating that we’re following that cautiously with Omicron. She claimed the data requires half a month to gather. She assures us that Omicron has been with us for half a month and forthcoming information. CDC Director Rochelle Walensky also testified before the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee on Capitol Hill about the COVID-19.

Her response even baffled the Biden White House, which has information about the differentiation for COVID-related deaths. But they did not want to publicly make this data available because then the American people might be able to make their own decisions rather than be dominated by fear. Under Walensky, the CDC has become one of the most degenerate agencies in the national government.

This information has been used to legitimize lockdowns across the country. Walensky and the CDC have been criticized for lacking a clear direction on COVID-19 guidance. The CDC cut the length of its suggested quarantine time from 10 days to five. And, the CDC has not been clear on the adequacy of rapid testing and masking. Thanks to the omicron variant. The US has encountered a record-breaking increase in COVID cases. Americans are attempting to get tested to get treatment and go on with their lives. Walensky is not helping, and her confused lack of leadership hurts us.
