Celebrities Trash Independence Day – Focusing on Abortion

Hollywood celebrities are known for being out of touch with ordinary Americans and sitting on their soapboxes espousing justice while immersed in privilege.

Instead of celebrating patriotism on the Fourth of July, prominent celebrities spent the day focusing on abortion, racism, and of course, their hatred for Donald Trump.

The Supreme Courts’ decision to undo the Roe v Wade abortion ruling has sent liberals and elites into a tailspin. The thought of unborn babies being given a chance to live in the United States is not a positive thing to those who glorify abortions.

Stars such as Barbra Streisand, Bette Midler and Rob Reiner expressed their anger at the United States and called the Supreme Court illegitimate.

Streisand has been a vocal Trump hater and has set her focus once again on the former president on July 4.

“On this July 4th, our democratic republic remains in danger by the authoritarian right led by Donald Trump and his propaganda of the Big Lie about the 2020 election,” Streisand tweeted.

Actress Jessica Chastain decided that unborn babies were regaining some independence and stripped her freedoms away.

“Happy ‘Independence’ Day from me and my reproductive rights,” she tweeted while giving the middle finger in the picture.

Celebrities have come out in force to hail abortion ever since Roe v. Wade was struck down. Twitter has become a platform where the stars air their grievances and July 4 was no exception.

Reality star Kim Kardashian has many supporters and it appears that made her think she gets to cancel a holiday. Kardashian declared on social media that the “4th of July has been canceled due to a shortage of Independence. Sincerely, Women.”

Katy Perry is known for her singing, but her liberal views are also a prominent staple of her personality. The star also aimed at the freedom-focused holiday by saying:” ‘Baby you’re a firework’ is a 10 but women in the U.S. have fewer rights than an actual sparkler smh.”

Elite celebrities enjoy making their opinions known and the Fourth of July was no exception for Hollywood and their ilk’s anti-American rhetoric.
