Comer Targets Evidence Of Democrat Money-Laundering And Bureaucratic Interference

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer has announced a deepening investigation into alleged Democrat money-laundering activities and bureaucratic interference in Biden family investigations. Comer revealed he has obtained access to over 400 Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) involving ActBlue, a prominent fundraising platform for liberal causes.

During an interview on Just the News, No Noise, Comer emphasized accountability for government employees accused of obstructing investigations into the Biden family. “Anyone who was involved in covering up criminal activity needs to be held accountable,” Comer stated. He vowed to work closely with the incoming Trump administration to identify and address these issues.

Comer highlighted whistleblower testimony from two IRS agents, who provided a roadmap of agencies and personnel involved in alleged obstruction. He criticized President Joe Biden’s recent pardon of his son, Hunter Biden, suggesting it would not shield other implicated individuals. “Biden will ultimately save his own skin,” Comer remarked, casting doubt on potential blanket pardons for federal officials.

The SARs raise questions about ActBlue’s operations, with allegations that foreign adversaries, including China and Iran, may have funneled money through the platform. Bryan Steil (R-WI), Chairman of the House Administration Committee, noted that ActBlue only recently implemented fraud protection measures like banning foreign-purchased gift cards and requiring CVV codes.

Comer and Steil believe these changes could indicate past vulnerabilities in ActBlue’s systems. “It’s a felony to accept foreign contributions,” Comer said, suggesting potential criminal violations. ActBlue denies any wrongdoing, maintaining that its operations comply with all federal and state laws.

The investigation has expanded to 19 states, with Comer and Steil calling for heightened scrutiny. The findings could have significant implications for campaign finance transparency and the Biden administration’s accountability.
