Let’s Go Brandon isn’t going anywhere. More shops are selling flags, shirts, and other paraphernalia with the anti-Biden slogan on it.
Judging from polls, the president and his administration should get used to ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ in the foreseeable future. According to a recent poll, Biden is now down to a 38% approval rating, with more than five Americans citing disapproval of his job performance.
With that said, one of the best people keeping the Let’s Go Brandon movement alive is Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. A few weeks ago, DeSantis referred to the White House as the “Brandon administration” during a speech.
Then, earlier this week, DeSantis paid tribute to Let’s Go Brandon in one of the most remarkable ways possible, as Red State points out.
Governor DeSantis has been one of the strongest leaders in America, pushing back against the unconstitutional COVID vaccine mandates Biden’s trying to force upon the nation’s workers.
As a result of this, DeSantis warned the state of Florida would take action to protect workers from losing their jobs due to heavy-handed mandates. True to his word, DeSantis worked with the Florida state legislature to pass laws that ban employees from being subject to COVID vaccine mandates.
After the state legislature passed the laws, DeSantis gave the legislature a final stamp of approval with his necessary signature on Thursday. Yet, the kicker here is DeSantis held the press conference and signing event in the city of Brandon, Florida.
Holding the event in Brandon (of all Florida cities) was DeSantis’ way of sending a message to the Biden administration while simultaneously giving the nod to the Let’s Go Brandon movement sweeping the nation.
As Florida clarifies it will not stand for Biden’s illegal medical mandates, the Federal Appeals Court has taken similar measures.
Earlier this month, the court ordered the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to cease any actions on implementing Biden’s mandate as applicable lawsuits are working their way through the courts.
Shortly after that, OSHA explained it would abide by the order to stop with moving ahead with Biden’s decree. The president and his administration are displeased about this. It appears they did not anticipate such strong pushback against their tyranny.
Governor DeSantis has been widely viewed as a potential contender in the 2024 presidential election. Since DeSantis is the governor who’s had the most conflict with Biden as president, a DeSantis vs. Biden presidential matchup wouldn’t be too far removed from what’s currently happening in America.
