Israel and Hamas are currently at war, with over 3,000 innocent civilians being killed because of Hamas’ brutality. Despite this, a member of the so-called “Squad” in the U.S. Congress is calling on America to take in 1 million Palestinian refugees, some of whom support Hamas.
Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY), who recently pulled the fire alarm in Congress to prevent voting from taking place in the House chamber, is calling on the U.S. to accept 1 million Palestinian refugees.
“Fifty percent of the population in Gaza are children. The international community, as well as the United States, should be prepared to welcome refugees from Palestine while being very careful to vet and not allow members of Hamas,” Bowman said, according to the New York Post.
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) spoke out against Bowman over the Democratic lawmaker’s idea for the U.S. to take in Palestinian refugees.
“Also I will say, and I don’t know what Biden’s going to do, but we cannot accept people from Gaza into this country as refugees,” DeSantis, who is running for president, said during a campaign stop in Iowa. “I am not going to do that.”
“If you look at how they behave, not all of them are Hamas, but they are all anti-Semitic. None of them believe in Israel’s right to exist,” DeSantis added.
“None of the Arab States are willing to take any of them,” he said. “The Arab States should be taking them if you have refugees. You don’t fly people and import them into the United States of America. So we’re going to be very strong on that.”

Across America, thousands of pro-Hamas protesters have taken to the streets to support terrorism against Israeli Jews.
Given Hamas’ brutality, DeSantis issued a scathing rebuke of those who “praise” the terrorist organization.
“We’ve got some serious problems in this country, we’ve allowed a lot of these problems to fester,” DeSantis noted. “But my view is very simple – if you don’t like this country, if you hate America, you should not come to this country. We’ve got to start being smart about this.”
Following Bowman’s comments, House Republicans introduced legislation barring President Joe Biden from importing Palestinian refugees. The bill, titled, “Guaranteeing Aggressors Zero Admission Act,” was recently introduced by Reps. Tom Tiffany (R-WI) and Andy Ogles (R-TN).
