FBI Targets Swatting Wave Aiming At Conservative Homes

A rash of swatting incidents has rattled conservative media stars, pulling the FBI into action. These fake emergency calls have sent police rushing to homes across the U.S. this week. FBI Director Kash Patel promised a crackdown, teaming up with local forces to nab the culprits behind what he calls a life-threatening trend.

Chase Geiser, an InfoWars host, faced a double hit. Swatters struck twice in 12 hours, with the second incident landing him in handcuffs before dawn on March 14. The Daily Mail reported, “Infowars host Chase Geiser posted video of police putting him in handcuffs after a person called 911 pretending to be the media personality.” The fake call claimed he’d threatened his family.

The Gateway Pundit highlighted a broader toll, stating, “Several conservative figures including Nick Sortor, Gunther Eagleman, and Shawn Farash have been swatted over the last couple of days.” Sortor’s ordeal extended to his family, with a caller spinning a wild tale about his dad attacking relatives — a clear sign swatters are digging into personal lives.

Joe Pags, a conservative radio staple, dodged disaster on March 12 when a hoax brought armed police to his door. The Daily Mail noted, “Conservative radio host Joe ‘Pags’ Pagliarulo revealed video footage of a man outside his home with a rifle.” He didn’t hesitate to call on Patel for federal help.

Patel isn’t framing this as a partisan fight. The Post Millennial quoted him saying, “This isn’t about politics — weaponizing law enforcement against ANY American is not only morally reprehensible but also endangers lives, including those of our officers.” Still, the conservative base sees their loudest voices under siege.

Gunther Eagleman’s home turned into a false crime scene too. The Post Millennial wrote, “Gunther Eagleman said he was also the victim of a swatting attack,” tied to a made-up “hostage situation.” His brother Mike and others like “Catturd” faced similar scares, with the latter marking his fourth swatting.

The scale is staggering. The Gateway Pundit added, “Catturd and Gunther’s brother Mike were also swatted this morning,” while an FBI source told the Daily Mail at least 10 cases hit on March 13 alone.
