Footage Shows Man Beating Two Pro-Lifers Outside Planned Parenthood

Police recently released security footage of a young man who’s wanted for severely punching and kicking the face of an elderly pro-lifer outside a Baltimore Planned Parenthood in May 2023. According to a witness, the suspect also knocked out another elderly pro-lifer.

WMAR-TV reported that a $2,000 reward is being offered for any information leading to the suspect’s arrest.

The suspect was described as a 20-something White male with brown hair, a full beard, and approximately six feet tall. Surveillance footage showed the man wearing a gray T-shirt, blue jeans, and brown shoes.

WMAR-TV said anyone who knows the suspect’s identity can call Metro Crime Stoppers at “1-866-7Lockup.”

The Blaze recently reported that Mark Crosby, 73, and Dick Schafer, 80, were outside Planned Parenthood on May 26, 2023, when the fight occurred.

Local pro-life advocate John Roswell told LifeSiteNews that the suspect initially asked one of the Planned Parenthood escorts to hold onto his drink before lunging at Schafer, “who believes his back was turned at that time to the assailant.”

“Mark, who was in the street, tried to go to Dick’s aid and was hit in the face, knocking him on the ground, and the man then kicked him in the head,” Roswell added to LifeSiteNews.

Police told WJZ-TV that video of the fight “shows the suspect strike [Crosby] in the face with a closed fist as [Crosby] is on his back on the ground. The suspect is then observed standing up and with extreme force, kicks [Crosby] directly in the face.”

An unknown witness said the suspect knocked Schafer out cold: “He speared the one gentleman over that flowerpot into the window and knocked him out. He was out cold for several minutes.”

Roswell told LifeSiteNews moments after the fight that Crosby’s “plate bone in his upper right cheek is completely fractured” and that he “is bleeding from some unidentified area behind his eye, and the bone eye orbit is completely shattered and will have to be replaced with metal.”

A GoFundMe was established after the fight to help with Crosby’s medical expenses, with over $40,000 currently being raised.
