Who would have thought that former Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s replacement could be worse than he was? Governor Kathy Hochul (D) may not be sexually assaulting her staff members — at least, there’s no evidence of it — but ideologically, she’s no better, and possibly even worse, for the state than Cuomo ever was.
Preaching to her church about the vaccinated churchgoers being her apostles, Hochul said, “All of you, yes, I know you’re vaccinated, you’re the smart ones, but you know there’s people out there who aren’t listening to God and what God wants.”
More recently, Hochul was booed at a New York Rangers hockey game at Madison Square Garden. New York City had a Vaccine passport program until March 7, 2021 that Kathy Hochul supported and Mayor Eric Adams has enforced. So, in order to get into previous games, every single person had to be vaccinated against Covid-19, which Hochul was part of implementing. Did she think that New Yorkers wouldn’t boo her?
Hochul isn’t looking very good in polls either.
The New York Post reported that Long Island Rep. Lee Zeldin is leading Hochul in polls. NY Post said, “The campaign survey shows Zeldin with 45.5% of the vote, compared to 44% for Hochul, with the rest undecided. The hypothetical matchup is within the poll’s margin of error, which means the race is a dead heat.”
According to recent polls, more Democrats are switching to the GOP, and it’s likely that independents are following as well.
The NY Post report also said, “The survey of 800 voters, conducted by John McLaughlin & Associates, found that crime is the No. 1 issue, with one in five respondents citing it as their top concern.”
That’s exactly why Adams was elected. Every state and local resident across the country is sick of having to deal with the constant fear of widespread violent crime.
