Haley Scolds Rally Crowd For Booing Climate Protesters

Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley rebuked the crowd at a New Hampshire campaign event for booing disruptive climate protesters. The leftists held a sign that read “Haley: Climate Criminal” and chanted “climate criminal” while being escorted out.

The crowd, of course, did not take kindly to the activists’ display and a smattering of boos were heard.

But Haley chastised the audience for expressing their dissatisfaction. “My husband and other military men and women sacrifice for us every day for her to be able to do that,” she said.

As more protests erupted, Haley quipped, “See, you never come to a dull rally.”

One demonstrator at the Nashua event appeared to resist when she was shown the door by a Haley campaign staffer. Another climate change radical apparently threw himself on the floor in an attempt to get more attention as he exited.

Still others compliantly left the gathering. The Sunrise Movement managed to infiltrate and disrupt several Republican gatherings ahead of the Iowa caucuses.

A few minutes later, Haley returned to the climate message. “We’re all worried about the environment, too. We all want clean air. We all want clean water. We all want a world that we can have our kids and our grandkids grow up. That’s not up for debate.”

Then she called out China and India for being the world’s largest polluters and said that real change must start with cutting their emissions.

The moderate Haley, though enjoying a brief New Hampshire surge, is having a tough time gaining traction among Republican conservatives. Much of this is due to issues such as a new report from the Washington Examiner.

The outlet noted that the former U.N. ambassador’s super PAC raked in a $250,000 donation from Reid Hoffman. Besides being linked to deceased pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, he is well known as a Democratic megadonor.

The Examiner also reported that Haley’s New Hampshire campaign director, Tyler Clark, previously lobbied for a Democratic Party-supporting dark money group, the Sixteen Thirty Fund.

Allegations such as these make it difficult for Haley to achieve credibility among rank-and-file conservatives. As for booing climate protesters, that should be expected at any serious political event.
