WWE legend Hulk Hogan leaped into action over the weekend when he helped rescue a teenage girl who was involved in a multi-car crash.
According to a representative for the former wrestler, Hogan, 70, helped assist a teen whose car flipped on a highway in Clearwater, Florida.
“It’s typical for Hulk; he has a big heart. He helps and treats people with the highest respect,” Hogan’s representative, Linda Bose, said.
According to TMZ Sports, Hogan, accompanied by his wife and friend, was driving on the highway when the accident occurred Sunday night. The car involved in the accident swerved erratically through lanes to exit but collided with another vehicle, causing it to flip.
It didn’t take long for the former wrestler and his friend to act. They successfully rescued the teen from the car, and with their combined efforts, the teenage girl was safely unbuckled from her seatbelt and removed from the vehicle.
TMZ shared several photos of the aftermath of the brutal crash, showing the former WWE pro-wrestler, his wife, and his friend standing next to one of the road’s concrete barriers. According to reports, the driver was only 17 years old and appeared shaken after the crash.

Hogan, whose real name is Terry Gene Bollea and his friend quickly pulled over after witnessing the crash. When paramedics arrived, the teen appeared to be in good health, but it’s unclear if she was taken to a local hospital for further medical attention.
Hogan and his wife, Sky Daily, have made headlines recently, including when the two were baptized in December. As a prominent fixture in the Florida community, the former wrestler had the ceremony at Indian Rocks Baptist Church in Florida, where he called it the greatest day of his life.
“Total surrender and dedication to Jesus is the greatest day of my life. No worries, no hate, no judgment… only love,” he posted on Instagram.
In a post on social media, the wrestling star said the ballpoint pen from Indian Rocks Baptist churched helped pop the airbags.
“The crazy part about the teenager that flipped her car was that without a knife to puncture the airbags to get her out, an Indian Rocks Christian ballpoint pen came in really handy to pop the bags thank you, God, all is well even now, Amen HH,” he continued.
It’s still unclear if the driver who hit the young woman remained at the scene.
