Camilo Hurtado Campos, a well-known 63-year-old youth soccer coach, has been arrested for drugging and taking advantage of young boys after inadvertently leaving his cellphone at a local pizza restaurant.

The shocking discovery of the distressing videos by the staff led to his apprehension. The explicit videos reportedly depicted multiple unconscious children being subjected to abuse. Investigators later revealed that the victims ranged in age from 9 to 17 years old.
A day after returning to retrieve his phone, Campos was apprehended when a vigilant restaurant employee managed to capture a photograph of his license plate, leading to his capture and subsequent arrest.
Concerns were raised about the location of his residence, which sat between two schools and across from a soccer field; providing him easy access to vulnerable children. Detailed investigations revealed Campos would regularly recruit children to his soccer team, gaining their trust before inviting them to his home.
There, he would drug and take advantage of them while recording these horrific acts.
Initially, three victims were identified among a minimum of 10, but since the case became publicized, an additional five victims have bravely stepped forward.
“Detectives note that the children depicted in these videos were in such a profoundly unconscious state,” stated law enforcement officials, “that they may not fully comprehend the extent of their victimization.”
In a shocking twist, it was revealed on Wednesday that Campos had entered the United States illegally. Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) confirmed the report, making use of this heinous incident to advocate for enhanced immigration security.
“This outrageous tragedy is further evidence that we need to build the wall now. Until our border is secured, every town is a border town, and criminals will continue to have free reign throughout the nation,” she passionately expressed on social media.
As the investigation progresses, additional charges are expected to be filed against Campos. Currently, he remains in custody with a substantial $525,000 bond. The Franklin community, along with law enforcement authorities, are rallying together to support the victims and ensure that justice is served in this deeply disturbing and heartbreaking case.
