Kamala Harris Receives A Busload Of Illegal Migrants On Mother’s Day

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) gave Vice President Kamala Harris a gift for Mother’s Day — a busload of illegal aliens that were released by the Biden administration after they crossed the southern border into Texas.

On Sunday, a bus carrying dozens of illegal aliens from Del Rio, a Texas border town, arrived at Harris’ official residence — the U.S. Naval Observatory.

The illegal aliens were taken to a church by a group of local volunteers for processing.

Abbott called Harris out in a tweet on Sunday, blasting the vice president for her failure to act in her role as “Border Czar” to address the border crisis — citing his own recently appointed Border Czar, retired Border Patrol supervisor Mike Banks, who the Republican governor said has done more to deal with the problem than Harris.

“In just a few months, @TexasBorderCzar Mike Banks has done more to address the border crisis than “Border Czar” Kamala Harris. Texans and Americans deserve a real Border Czar who will step up and face Biden’s border crisis head on,” Abbott tweeted.

The Texas governor has ramped up the bussing of illegal aliens to sanctuary cities — including Chicago, Philadelphia, New York City and Washington, D.C. — following the ending of the Trump-era Title 42 policy, which has prompted a surge in illegal immigration. Tens of thousands of illegals reportedly crossed the southern border into Texas in the two weeks leading up to the end of Title 42, while thousands more have crossed since the policy ended.

In response to a press inquiry from Breitbart News, Abbott’s press secretary Andrew Mahaleris provided further details about the bussing program.

“Governor Abbott launched the border bus mission in April 2022 to provide support to our overrun and overwhelmed border communities as the Biden Administration dumps thousands of migrants in their towns,” Mahaleris told the outlet. “Texas has since bused over 17,300 migrants to self-declared sanctuary cities Washington, D.C., New York, Chicago, and Philadelphia, providing much-needed relief.”

According to Abbott’s office, more than 220 busses have transported illegal aliens from overwhelmed border communities along the Rio Grande to Washington, D.C., since the governor began the program just over a year ago. Between 30 and 50 illegal aliens are on each bus — all of whom have volunteered for the free trips.

Last week, Abbott’s office released data concerning the approximate numbers of illegal aliens that have been sent to each sanctuary city since the start of the program in April 2022. According to the data, more than 200 busses were sent to Washington, D.C., containing over 9,100 illegal aliens; more than 115 busses were sent to New York City containing over 5,700 illegal aliens; more than 30 busses were sent to Chicago containing over 1,600 illegal aliens; and more than 15 busses were sent to Philadelphia containing over 920 illegal aliens.

Mother’s Day is not the first time that Abbott has sent illegal aliens to the vice president’s doorstep, as another busload of approximately 30 illegals arrived at Harris’ residence on May 12.
