Major Media Downplays Leftist Terrorism

The assassination attempt of a sitting Supreme Court justice and the firebombing of a pro-life center should be headline news across the nation. But for the New York Times and MSNBC, it’s hardly worth a mention.

An armed man, who flew in from California, was arrested outside Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s suburban Washington home early Wednesday morning by U.S. Marshalls.

The Justice Department says 26-year-old Nicholas Roske threatened to murder Kavanaugh over a list of liberal grievances.

For the New York Times, this was relegated to the “more news” section of its website, near the bottom. Next to a Pulitzer-bound piece about Trader Joe’s employees looking to organize.

The day before, a suspected left-wing domestic terrorist firebombed and vandalized the CompassCare Community medical facility in Amherst, New York. The terrorists spray painted “Jane Was Here” on the building, an apparent reference to the radical abortion terrorist cell “Jane’s Revenge.”

This lovely group has allegedly carried out multiple such attacks in recent weeks, including one that destroyed a pro-life headquarters in Wisconsin. There, the message said, “If abortions aren’t safe, then you aren’t either.” They even admitted vandalizing a Washington D.C. center last week.

This deserves headline attention, but on MSNBC, there was nary a mention.

True, that is to be expected of such a lowbrow network, but how about the New York Times, CNN, NBC, and CBS? Searches of their websites turned up zilch. Crickets.

Two firefighters were treated for minor injuries on the scene, and the Amherst Police Department says the fire “is being investigated as arson at this time.” Glass was shattered at the facility and much of the inside was burned and destroyed.

Adding insult to injury — and firebombings — New York state recently approved $35 million to protect abortion clinics. Go figure.

And remember, it was just earlier this week when the Department of Homeland Security issued a warning about a “heightened threat environment.” The danger, they said, is most likely from “domestic terrorists.”

Well, here you are. Two shiny examples of homegrown terrorism just waiting to be pulled up by the roots. But don’t hold your breath for federal raids on pro-abortion organizations anytime soon. These are not the terrorists we are looking for.
