Former Vice President Mike Pence has fallen from the graces of Trump supporters and his latest announcement furthers the divide.
On Aug. 17, Pence said he is mulling over testifying before the House of Representatives committee, which overemphasizes the event that took place at the Capitol on Jan. 6.
After Joe Biden was declared the winner of the 2020 presidential election, evidence suggests widespread election interference surfaced.
Before leaving office, Trump called upon his second in command to not validate Biden’s presidential election win. However, Pence refused, and Biden took office.
Pence’s senior aide gave testimony to the committee. His top staff member, Marc Short, also testified before a federal grand jury presiding over the so-called investigation.
Pence said he would give any invitation to testify “due consideration.”
“Any invitation that would be directed to me, I would have to reflect on the unique role I was serving in as vice president,” Pence told a crowd while giving a speech in New Hampshire.

In June, Jan. 6, committee members considered forcing Pence to testify. But it now sounds like Pence would be fine joining in if he was given an invitation.
Pence is considering running for president in 2024, despite his support dwindling. Ruffling even more feathers, Pence is backing the FBI after their unprecedented raid on Trump’s home in Florida.
“The Republican Party is the party of law and order,” Pence said. “Our party stands with the men and women who stand on the thin blue line at the federal and state and local level, and these attacks on the FBI must stop. Calls to defund the FBI are just as wrong as calls to defund the police.”
Trump has faced severe political persecution and his followers are standing with him as he battles Democrats, the FBI and other corrupt government agencies.
Despite Pence backing the FBI, many House Republicans are standing with Trump and urging the defunding of the FBI after its political attack.
Impeach Merrick Garland and Defund the corrupt FBI!
End political persecution and hold those accountable that abuse their positions of power to persecute their political enemies, while ruining our country.
This shouldn’t happen in America.
Republicans must force it to stop!

As Pence continues to turn heads, his support seems to be lacking as Trump’s backing only grows.
