The 2024 presidential campaign of incumbent President Joe Biden may be in peril, according to conservative firebrand Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA). The House Oversight Committee, of which Greene is a member, believes they have evidence of Biden’s alleged pay-to-play operations. Greene told the Daily Caller, “If they hand over that form, the proof is there. It will literally show that Biden used his powers as vice president to make money to influence foreign policy decisions on behalf of the United States of America.”

At the center of this brewing controversy is an FD-1023 document. According to sources, it contains details suggesting Biden received funds from a foreign national in exchange for specific foreign policy decisions during his tenure as vice president. The FBI is holding this document and is currently the subject of a subpoena by the House Oversight Committee.
However, the FBI, headed by Director Christopher Wray, refuses to turn over the document, arguing that it could potentially endanger their investigations and risk lives. They have emphasized that the document’s contents, reported by an unnamed source, remain unverified.
“Revealing unverified or possibly incomplete information could harm investigations or potentially identify individuals who provide information to law enforcement,” said the FBI in a statement to the Daily Caller.
The standoff has resulted in House Oversight Chairman James Comer threatening to hold Wray in contempt of Congress if the document isn’t turned over by May 30. The impasse has also led to Representative Greene introducing articles of impeachment against Wray.
“Under Wray’s watch, the FBI has turned into Joe Biden and Merrick Garland’s personal police force,” Greene’s office stated during the impeachment proceedings.
The Oversight Committee has previously released a report alleging members of the Biden family profited from Romanian and Chinese assets via influence peddling. This report doesn’t directly implicate President Biden. Still, the committee argues that the FD-1023 document could tie him to these alleged money laundering operations.
