Musk Demands Peace In Ukraine Says Lives Are Being Lost ‘For Nothing’

Elon Musk made an emotional plea during a Fox News appearance this week, urging leaders to stop supporting endless war in Ukraine without a clear plan to save lives. Speaking with host Brett Baier, Musk focused on the cost of war in human terms and called out those he said are more interested in looking good than solving the crisis.

Baier questioned Musk about a social media post in which he labeled Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ) a traitor after Kelly shared support for additional weapons shipments to Ukraine. Musk said, “If they don’t [prioritize America’s interests], they’re a traitor.”

When Baier noted Kelly’s service in the military and his time as an astronaut, Musk responded that such credentials don’t justify putting another nation ahead of the U.S. “It doesn’t mean it’s okay for him to put the interests of another country above America,” he said.

Musk argued that the war has become a deadly stalemate, with huge numbers of soldiers dying in trenches for no real progress. He said the front lines have barely shifted in two years and that ongoing support without a peace plan means more pointless deaths. “Thousands of people have died every week for nothing,” Musk said.

He showed clear frustration toward politicians and activists who demand continued involvement but offer no end goal. “Those who virtue signal and say, ‘Oh, we can’t give in to Russia,’ but have no solution to stopping thousands of kids dying every day. They just want that to continue forever,” he said.

Musk said he has “contempt” for those who act morally superior without facing the consequences. He said that because of this approach, children are left fatherless and parents lose sons with no clear reason or gain. “For what? Nothing,” Musk said.

He predicted the war would end with negotiations and asked why so many refuse to consider that now, before more lives are lost.
