Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) husband has gotten off without any jail time for his DUI charge, pleading guilty to one count of driving under the influence related to his arrest on May 28 after he crashed his Porsche in Napa Valley, California.
Paul Pelosi — who is known for making lucrative stock trades that many have alleged are based on insider information from his wife — has pleaded guilty to a DUI charge and was sentenced to three years of probation and no additional jail time, according to court records obtained by TMZ.
The Democrat speaker of the house’s husband was also sentenced to five days of jail time — but luckily for him, he is getting credit for time served. Pelosi spent two days in jail following his arrest, and was given conduct credit for two other days. As for the final day’s worth of jail time in his sentence, Pelosi will be working for eight hours in the court’s work program to make up for it, according to Politico.
The terms of his probation also include a requirement to complete a three-month drinking and driving course, along with installing an ignition interlock device into his car for one year. Pelosi will also have to pay a $150 fine.

Around one hour before he was arrested, Pelosi was involved in a two-vehicle car crash, according to reporting from Breitbart News.
Court documents later revealed that, at the time of his arrest, Pelosi had slurred speech, red and watery eyes, and a drug in his system. Napa County prosecutors later walked back what they claimed was a “boilerplate” drug allegation in the DUI complaint.
When speaking with officers on the scene, in an attempt to get away with his crime, Pelosi allegedly handed the officers his California Highway Patrol 11-99 Foundation card alongside his driver’s license when they asked for his ID, according to the documents. The foundation is now reportedly considering revoking his membership, as flashing his membership card during the arrest reportedly violates its policy.
