Porn Industry Allies Of Harris Spread False Claims Linking Trump To Project 2025

Kamala Harris’ supporters in the adult film industry have launched a misleading campaign falsely linking President Donald Trump to Project 2025. The “Hands Off My Porn” campaign claims that Trump is connected to a plan that could threaten the adult film industry, even though Trump has made it clear that he is not involved with Project 2025.

For political purposes or otherwise, Trump has repeatedly stated that he has nothing to do with Project 2025 and is running on his own platform, Agenda 47, which lays out his policy objectives. Despite this, Harris’ allies continue to push the false narrative that Trump intends to crack down on the adult film industry through this project.

Some conservative leaders, including Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) and Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), have voiced concerns about the harmful effects of pornography on society, particularly on children. However, there is no indication that either of them or Trump is seeking to outlaw adult content production as claimed by the industry.

Laws requiring age verification for accessing adult websites, like those passed in Utah, Arkansas and Louisiana, are intended to protect minors and are not part of any national crackdown on the industry.

The efforts by Harris’ allies to link Trump to Project 2025 are based on misinformation designed to stir up fear among voters, despite the fact that Trump has no connection to the Heritage Foundation’s plan and is focused on his own agenda, Agenda 47.
