Report Reveals 99 Terror Watch List Aliens Released Into US

A new House Judiciary Committee report has revealed that the Biden-Harris administration’s border policies have resulted in the release of 99 illegal aliens on the terror watch list into the United States. The report, titled “TERROR AT OUR DOOR: HOW THE BIDEN-HARRIS ADMINISTRATION’S OPEN-BORDERS POLICIES UNDERMINE NATIONAL SECURITY AND

ENDANGER AMERICANS,” highlights significant national security risks posed by the administration’s handling of the southern border crisis.

From fiscal year 2021-2023, 250 illegal aliens on the terror watch list were encountered at the southern border, with many of them gaining entry into the country. The report details the case of eight Tajik nationals with potential ISIS ties, three of whom were released after using the CBP One app to schedule appointments at ports of entry, exposing flaws in the vetting process.

The Trump-Vance campaign and the RNC have seized on these findings to criticize Vice President Kamala Harris, who was appointed border czar in March 2021. They argue that her leadership has led to dangerous lapses in national security. Jake Schneider, Rapid Response Director for the RNC, condemned the release of the suspected terrorists as “criminal negligence.”

The report also points to gaps in information sharing within immigration courts, highlighting instances where immigration judges granted bond to potential terrorists due to a lack of access to classified information. The findings raise concerns about the effectiveness of the current system in protecting national security.
