Republicans are now actively deciding whether or not to impeach President Joe Biden, with Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) being a strong advocate for impeachment.
Asked when the investigations and problems concerning Hunter Biden become an issue for the president, which could prompt impeachment efforts by Republicans, Cruz said, “It is right now.”

Cruz said the recently revealed 2017 WhatsApp messages between Hunter and Henry Zhao, a Chinese Communist Party (CCP) official, is evidence that the president was using his position in government to enrich his son and himself.
Cruz said the WhatsApp message “directly ties Joe Biden to the millions of dollars coming from communist China.”
“Now, it is possible Hunter Biden was lying, it’s possible Joe Biden wasn’t next to him. It’s possible Joe Biden was not going to inflict official damage on the Chinese if they didn’t pay him and his son millions of dollars. That’s possible. But you know what? We don’t know if it’s true or not,” Cruz added.
“Why? Because, according to the whistleblower, they didn’t investigate, and they were prohibited from investigating. They were prevented from even asking the question,” he continued.
Multiple other Republicans in the House are also pushing to impeach the president, including Reps. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) who want to impeach Biden concerning immigration.
