Trump Demands “Equal Time” to Prove Fraud

Former President Donald Trump is demanding time in the media to counter the “slanderous” January 6 hearing to show that fraud was prevalent in the 2020 presidential election. Trump took to his social media platform Truth Social to speak out against the panel.

Trump said, “The Fake News Networks are perpetuating lies, falsehoods, and Russia, Russia, Russia type disinformation (same sick people, here we go again!) by allowing the low rates but nevertheless one-sided and slanderous Unselect Committee hearings to go endlessly and aimlessly on (and on and on!). It is a one-sided, highly partisan Witch Hunt, the likes of which have never been seen in Congress before. Therefore, I am hereby demanding EQUAL TIME to spell out the massive Voter Fraud & Dem Security Breach!”

Trump submitted the post on Thursday when the hearing focused on former Vice President Mike Pence. During the hearing, Pence said, “Ultimately, I believe that most Americans understand that we did our duty that day under the Constitution and the laws of this country.”

In a statement released on Monday, June 13, Trump called the hearings a “distraction” and noted that he’s “leading in every poll, against both Republicans and Democrats by wide margins.” Trump also said that the hearings were an attempt to stop him from running for president again.

Trump also took the opportunity to slam Democrats for inflation, gas prices, and energy dependence.

Trump said, “The reason I am leading in the polls is that Democrats have caused record inflation, sky-high gas prices, energy dependence on our adversaries, the education system is a crisis, illegal aliens are invading our border, the supply chain has crippled our way of life, parents can’t get baby formula, mandates have crippled businesses, and our way of life has been crushed by government regulations.”

The media is going to focus on the January 6 hearings leading up to the 2022 midterm elections to make sure that voters aren’t paying attention to President Joe Biden’s disastrous administration.

The problem with that plan is that Americans are living through the repercussions of Biden’s decisions. Democrats still aren’t able to drum up the evidence to prove that Trump coordinated an insurrection in order to overturn the 2020 presidential election.

Trump is still a leading force in the Republican party and a strong candidate for future elections. With Biden’s complete unpopularity, Republicans hold strong poll numbers for the upcoming midterms and there’s likely a red wave coming.
