Gaetz further questioned whether Wray had briefed Biden outside the president’s reported “good hours” of 10 AM to 4 PM. Wray confirmed that he had briefed Biden at various times but maintained that he observed no significant issues.
Trump’s demand for Wray’s resignation is based on the belief that Biden’s decision not to seek re-election signals his incapacity to serve effectively. This sentiment is shared by figures like Vice Presidential candidate JD Vance, who argue that Biden’s cognitive health issues warrant his resignation.
