President Donald Trump hinted he might release the client list connected to Jeffrey Epstein if elected in 2024, bringing the issue back into the spotlight. During a wide-ranging interview with podcaster Lex Fridman, Trump addressed several topics, including foreign policy and his vision for America. However, his comments on Epstein captured the most attention.
Fridman raised the question about why the list of people who visited Epstein’s island hasn’t been released, saying many find it “very strange.” Trump, without hesitating, acknowledged the intrigue, calling it “very interesting” and implying that the names might eventually come to light. “It probably will be,” Trump said.
Epstein, a convicted sex offender, was accused of running a massive network involving underage girls and powerful figures. Although his arrest sent shockwaves through political and social circles, the full extent of his connections remains hidden, which has fueled speculation for years. Trump’s comments reignited public curiosity.
While discussing the issue further, Trump mentioned other classified records, including documents related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. He claimed that many officials want those files to remain secret because they could “endanger” certain individuals. Trump suggested that, much like with the Kennedy records, some people might not want the Epstein client list released for similar reasons.
Asked directly whether he would release the Epstein list, Trump stated he’d “certainly take a look at it” and didn’t shy away from suggesting that it would be possible. “I’d have no problem with it,” Trump said.
This bold stance has sparked new conversations about transparency, raising questions about what a future Trump presidency could mean for uncovering long-hidden secrets. His willingness to publicly entertain the idea could become a key talking point in the lead-up to the 2024 election.
