Trump pointed to the failure of the current accreditation system, which he says has allowed universities to prioritize radical agendas over student outcomes. He pledged to remove leftist accreditors and replace them with organizations committed to academic standards, fiscal responsibility, and protecting free speech.

The plan includes several sweeping reforms, such as eliminating bloated administrative roles and Marxist Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs that contribute to rising tuition costs.
