A new poll revealed that a growing majority of Americans favor using a wall to lessen the number of illegal aliens entering the United States.
Rasmussen Reports and NumbersUSA conducted a survey that concluded 67% of Americans support a wall to help limit the number of migrants coming into the country illegally. The percentage notably included nearly half of Democrats (49%).
It was also found that 69% of those surveyed would like to “mandate that all employers use the federal electronic E-Verify system to help ensure that they hire only legal workers for U.S. jobs.”
“This polling is remarkable. It shows clearly that most American voters of every type, party, and ideology agree that immigration needs to be brought under much better control,” said NumbersUSA Vice President of Operations Jim Robb.
It is no secret that huge waves of illegal aliens have been flooding into America as of late. A report by the CBP last month concluded that a record-breaking 2.4 million people tried crossing into the United States during the fiscal year 2022, which ended on September 30.
The Biden administration has faced a massive amount of controversy for the ongoing crisis of illegal immigration into the United States.
Aside from the massive amount of untracked people currently residing in the United States, other issues coming out of the southern border include a surge in fentanyl overdoses throughout the nation.
“More than half of the fentanyl-laced fake prescription pills being trafficked in communities across the country now contain a potentially deadly dose of fentanyl. This marks a dramatic increase — from four out of ten to six out of ten – in the number of pills that can kill,” claimed DEA Administrator Anne Milgram. “These pills are being mass-produced by the Sinaloa Cartel and the Jalisco Cartel in Mexico. Never take a pill that wasn’t prescribed directly to you. Never take a pill from a friend. Never take a pill bought on social media. Just one pill is dangerous and one pill can kill.”
Many conservatives have ridiculed White House occupant Joe Biden for having never been recorded as officially visiting the southern border.
Since then, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has confirmed that Biden has no plans to visit the border now during a planned Dec. 6 visit to Arizona.
