When Your Hero Is Mitch McConnell, You’ve Got Bigger Problems

Democrat Senator Chuck “You” Schumer (NY) is a camera-hogging goof. And Republican Senator Mitch “The Turtle” McConnell is a grafting compromised Machiavellian dork.

We have gotten the government we deserve. Good and hard. Winston Churchill famously said, “Democracy is the worst form of government, except all others.”

Democrat Senator Joe Manchin (WV) responded to a typically insane tirade from Majority Leader Schumer assaulting Republicans last week. Manchin stood up for his fellow Senators across the aisle who tried to prevent a shutdown by offering a more reasonable budget.

Mitch McConnell, offered the Democrats an extension for the debt limit. Why not give them another few hundred billion dollars to pay off their donors? As long as Mitch and Elaine get their piece of the pie, it’s a happy day in the McConnell-Chow household.

Mitch will support a vote to increase the debt ceiling by $480 billion. He kicks the can down the road better than anyone on Capitol Hill. We must assume that these bilge rats had already game planned this out, and even the Treasury Department was in on it. For the nation to avoid bankruptcy on December 3rd, we need to raise the limit on our maxed-out credit cards. Well, guess who runs the bank, the same spendthrift shopaholics who have already bankrupted this nation. So, more credit is approved! Now they can blow it on contractors who funded your reelection.

Who is surprised that Chuck Schumer decided to dig his knife in instead of civility and be collegial? He fumed, “Republicans played a dangerous partisan game, and I am glad that their brinkmanship did not work. Despite immense opposition from Leader McConnell and members of his conference, our caucus held together, and we pulled our country back from the cliff’s edge that Republicans tried to push us over.”

Democrats and the media are still putting America in the thrall of their manipulation to pass massive spending bills.

In a recent open letter to Joe Biden, Minority Leader McConnell has drawn a line in the sand with chalk because he supposedly believes another careless spending bill will hurt America. But raising the debt ceiling was okay.

He takes credit for putting us deeper in the hole, with eleven traitorous Republicans running cover. Senators Richard Shelby (AL), Lisa Murkowski (AK), Susan Collins (ME), Roy Blunt (MO), Rob Portman (OH), John Thune (SD), Mike Rounds (SD), John Cornyn (TX), Shelly Moore Capito (WV) and John Barrasso (WY) voted with McConnell and invited the pantsing insults from Schumer. Mitch said that was the last straw that broke the camel’s back, claiming that if the all-Democrat government faces an avoidable emergency, he will not be there to help.

Mitch was appalled by Senator Schumer’s hysterics. Really, when did he figure out that Chuck was a raving lunatic? Last week? We know that you cannot trust him, but apparently, Mitch is too dense to listen to us.

Mitch has grave worries about a massive, foolish spending bill that would hurt Americans and help China. He almost sounds like Donald Trump.

He claims that on Capitol Hill, danger looms if Congress cannot negotiate a compromise budget. Did Mitch get lied to? Will the Democrats end the filibuster to pass their tyrannical tax, spend, and tank bills? We will all wait and see, but it is not looking good.

A few Republicans resisted compromise, recognizing that it only encourages the Democrats. Republican Senators Lindsey Graham (SC) and Ted Cruz (TX) tried to hold the line. Mitt Romney (UT) went along with the procedural vote but inexplicably did not stab the nation in the back this time. But now Mitt is clutching his pearls, offended that Schumer stomped on Republicans. When will these nitwits learn? Probably never, and that is sad.
