Authorities have made public the surveillance images of a man believed to be in his twenties, who is wanted for the vicious attack on elderly pro-life advocates outside a Planned Parenthood facility last month. In a shocking incident that took place on North Howard Street, the suspect reportedly punched and kicked one victim in the face, while knocking another unconscious.
A witness at the scene recounted the harrowing ambush, prompting a $2,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the perpetrator. The suspect has been described as a Caucasian male in his twenties, approximately 6 feet tall, with brown hair and a full beard.
Reports say he was seen wearing a gray T-shirt, blue jeans, and brown shoes during the incident. Afterwards, he was last seen walking westbound on Mulberry Street. Law enforcement officials are urging anyone with relevant information to come forward and assist in their investigation.

Metro Crime Stoppers can be contacted at 1-866-7Lockup for those who have knowledge about the suspect’s identity or whereabouts. The assault victims, Mark Crosby, 73, and Dick Schafer, 80, were present outside the Planned Parenthood facility on the morning of May 26 when the confrontation occurred.
According to local pro-life advocate John Roswell, the assailant initially approached one of the Planned Parenthood escorts and requested them to hold his drink. Without warning, he then lunged at Schafer, who had his back turned at the time.
Roswell further explained that Crosby, who was in the street, attempted to intervene and was struck in the face, causing him to fall to the ground. The assailant continued his ambush by kicking Crosby in the head.
Authorities revealed the brutal attack was captured on video, showing the suspect delivering a closed-fist punch to Crosby’s face while the victim lay on the ground. The footage also depicts the suspect forcefully kicking Crosby in the face after standing up.
Another witness, choosing to remain anonymous, recounted how the assailant speared Schaefer over a flowerpot and into a nearby window, rendering him unconscious for several minutes. Schaefer sustained injuries to his hand, shoulder, head, and back as a result.
Roswell provided an update on Crosby’s condition, stating that his upper right cheekbone was completely fractured and he was bleeding from an unidentified area behind his eye. Additionally, his orbital bone was shattered and will require a metal replacement. To assist with Crosby’s medical expenses, a GoFundMe campaign has been made.
As investigations continue, law enforcement agencies are urging the public to remain vigilant and report any information that could aid in bringing the assailant to justice.
