Drug Abuse Puts Harry’s US Visa at Risk

Prince Harry’s drug admission could get him in trouble with the U.S. Immigration Authority.

In his recently shared personal experiences, Spare, Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, revealed that his first sniff of cocaine was on a shooting weekend at just 17. According to him, the Prince also did “a few more lines” on several occasions.

Prince Harry admitted to getting high on magic mushrooms and smoking cannabis after his first date with the now Duchess of Sussex back in 2016.

“Besides the toilet was a round silver bin, the kind with a foot pedal to open the lid,” Harry said in a rather unroyal fashion that dominated the memoir. “I stared at the bin. It stared back. Then it became . . . a head. I stepped on the pedal and the head opened its mouth. A huge open grin. I laughed, turned away, took a p***.”

Not only has the Prince significantly damaged his royal reputation, but his embarrassing revelations may also jeopardize his U.S. visa, as suggested by an immigration expert.

Regarding entry into the U.S., officials say entry is granted on a “case-by-case” basis. The law provides that an individual’s current or past actions, such as drug abuse, sex offenses, racism, and other criminal activities, can make an applicant ineligible for a U.S. visa.

Professor Alberto Benítez, The head of George Washington University’s Immigration Clinic, was captured telling Telegraph. “He would have been asked [about drug abuse when applying for his visa].”

He further said, “If he was truthful in his answers, he should have been denied,” the professor added. He concluded by saying Prince Harry’s visa may be revoked based on lying during the application process.

Prince Harry, the fifth-in-line to the British throne, is famous for marrying the popular American actress Meghan Markle. The union meant Meghan was conferred with the Duchess of Sussex courtesy title by her late mother-in-law.

The Sussexes have given several interviews throwing allegations at the British royal family. Harry and Meghan just released a Netflix documentary that put the Duchess on Politico’s list of 2022 narcissists.

Following the release of the couple’s documentary, a poll revealed 44% of the British public want Harry stripped off his royal title.
